Kumeu is a project from the Brajkovich family, who moved to New Zealand from Croatia in 1932. True to their roots, they bring an Old World elegance to a new world wine-growing region, creating a stellar Pinot Noir that's dry, refreshing, and bold (for a Pinot Noir, that is). This wine has a cherry red color with red fruit aromas. It's round and fruity with light tannins and oh-so-smooth to drink.
About The Varietal
Ranked as the 10th most widely planted grape variety globally, Pinot Noir has amassed a dedicated following among passionate wine enthusiasts. Originally the predominant red wine grape of Burgundy, its allure has led to widespread adoption and admiration in vineyards across the globe. The elusive charm of Pinot Noir has found a home in diverse wine regions worldwide.
Enjoy with steak salad, sausage, or capers and olives.
