Carbone is the "second wine" from Favia Wines: the passion-project of Annie Favia and Andy Erickson. This full-bodied Cabernet blend has become one of their signature reds. It features a nose of dried blueberries and subtle oak, followed by a silky smooth finish of dark tobacco notes.

    About The Varietal

    Bordeaux Blend

A red Bordeaux blend primarily consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, supplemented by smaller amounts of Malbec and Petit Verdot, with Carmenere occasionally included. While the term naturally applies to red wines from Bordeaux, it is also suitable for wines produced beyond the region, such as those from California, Washington, Argentina, and other locations.
