Terrasol is a combination of two Italian words: Terra (land) and Sole (Sun). In Sicily the warm sun and the unique soil compositions both impact the ultimate characteristics of the wines. This minimal intervention Catarratto was originally made for the locals, but then the winemakers decided to start bottling. Ripe orchard fruit and a slight nutty note round out this crisp and refreshing white.

Catarratto
Catarratto is a white grape variety originating from Sicily, an island located off the southern coast of Italy. It is primarily utilized in crafting approachable, white wines that are easy to enjoy. Although it is mostly grown on the island itself, Catarratto is one of Italy's most widely cultivated grape varieties, accounting for approximately 60 percent of the island's total vineyard area.
