Founded by brothers Aristides and Stathios Panos in 1999, Tetramythos crafts distinctive and delicious wines using native varietals. Organically farmed at very high altitudes, the wines have an elegance often lacking in Greek wines. This light-bodied white features notes of yellow apples and saltine crackers. Pair it with fresh seafood and shellfish dishes like oysters.
About The Varietal
Rhoditis, a Greek wine grape with pink skin, has been traditionally cultivated in the Peloponnese region of Greece. Before the phylloxera outbreak, it held significant importance in the Greek wine sector because of its late ripening and capacity to retain acidity in hot climates, particularly in regions like Peloponnese and Thessaly.
