This is the "California take on the Japanese spin on Scotch whisky". Created with Japanese-style highball glasses in mind (hence the name, Baller), this whiskey uses 100% American barely and ages in a blend of bourbon and French oak wine barrels, before finishing in casks that previously held Umeshu, a Japanese plum liqueur.

It's easy to see why this spirit has a bit of a cult following!

On the palate, it's crisp and dry, with a touch of malt sweetness and a hint of lychee. Fruit, nutty almonds, and smoke build on the finish.
