Phile and Eileen Gregory have deep passion for recycling, sustainability, and great wine to share with friends. Their winery is made from reclaimed shipping boats, and their wines are all organically farmed. Medium bodied and a delicate balance of acidity and tannins, this Mexican Tempranillo expresses notes of blackberries, figs, toasted spices and chocolate. An exceptional pairing for venison, grilled meats, strong cheeses, and dark chocolate.

    About The Varietal

    Tempranillo

Tempranillo serves as the backbone for some of the finest Spanish wines, and it is a red grape variety cultivated extensively in both Spain and Portugal. In general, Tempranillo yields red wines characterized by red fruit and leather aromas, high tannins, moderate to low acidity, and moderate alcohol levels.
