A really rare and delicious wine, Alberto Orte is one of the winemakers responsible for preserving and exploring the joys of the little known grape Tintilla. Actually, Alberto has produced the first still, dry wine made from Tintilla in over a century (history in a glass!). Showing a little bit of earthy funk, spice, and leather on the nose as well as a spectrum of dark fruit, the palate is juicy with plenty of boysenberry, bitter cherry, and a slight iodine mineral component. This is a really interesting and fun wine that is great with charcuterie, roasted meats, or even pizza!
