Sourced from vineyards planted in 1908, the Graffito Malbec is dark and concentrated with more complexity than your average wine. One of our favorite Malbecs here at UG!
About The Varietal
The dark and inky black-blue grape variety, Malbec, originates from Cahors in South West France. However, due to its remarkable success, particularly in the vineyards of Mendoza, Argentina, Malbec has transitioned from relative obscurity to achieving international recognition. It is now primarily renowned as the iconic wine grape of Argentina.
Enjoy with burgers, meatloaf, chicken thighs, and hearty vegetables.
About The Producer
Winemaker Jimena Lopez departed from her corporate wine position to follow her aspiration of crafting her own wines. Currently, she oversees all facets of Graffito, from selecting the vines to creating the final blend, demonstrating a meticulous attention to detail. Jimena's strong belief in the quality of her wines is exemplified by her personal fingerprint stamped on the label. The wines, deeply concentrated and named after the color of "graphite," exhibit beautiful expression and structural integrity.
