This nose is very inviting, bursting with buttered popcorn, caramel, honey, and peach. The body starts with lemon zest, ripe apricots and gala apple, finishing with a full, creamy texture. Pair with pate and fig jam!
About The Varietal
Savagnin Blanc, distinct from Sauvignon Blanc, is an ancient white wine grape originating from the sub-alpine regions of eastern France. It is notably featured in two of France's unique wines—the Sherry-like Vin Jaune, the sweet and concentrated Vin de Paille—and contributes to Jura's sparkling and dry white wines, all of which hail from the eastern Jura region.
Enjoy with curry dishes, roasted white meats or mushrooms!
