“Our goal is making wines of the utmost quality with a strong identity, personality, and a profound sense of place” - Alejandro Bulgheroni, founder of Bodega Garzón
In line with the quote above, this delightful, vibrant white wine is indicative of the unique terroir that has made Garzón the cornerstone of modern viticulture in Uruguay. The mineral-rich soil of this region, coupled with the vineyards’ proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, shows in the resulting wine’s strong mineral character and bright acidity. It is equally enjoyable on its own as it is paired with shellfish and other light seafood dishes.
About The Varietal
This green-skinned grape variety originates from Galicia, situated on the northern Atlantic coast of Spain. It is most famous for being the primary grape variety in the Rias Baixas DO, where it is used to craft fresh, and often, texturally rich white wines featuring notes of peach, citrus, and minerals, making them an ideal accompaniment to the region's seafood.
Enjoy with spring vegetables, soft cheeses, or aromatic herbs and delicate spices.
